Getting my money's worth!

Living in a middle unit in a villa tends to  be a little dark because I'm sandwiched in on both side by my neighbors..    For this reason, I decorated my guest bathroom with a little lamp that I leave lit all the time.

At the Dollar Store, I purchased a snall packet of 4 night light bulbs, one of which I screwed  into my stainglass lamp.    That was six months ago...but it's still lit.   Hard for me to believe!   I would really have to say I got my money's worth.  Probably cost very little to operate.

Re-thinking, about 35 years ago we bought a hair blower to use after a shampoo.   It still  works as good as the day it was  purchased.

In 1970 we purchased a Radio Shack calculator..and held under light, it still turns on and gives wonderful calculations...I don't have to think any longer!

The cars we've owned over the years...we drove them until we could barely reach the car dealer, which made them old by their standards.

Today, cars are made to take it and you're able to drive 200,000 miles or more if you've babied your auto.

Many things I would be able to use a lot longer, but they have an expiration date....even a bottle of water.   Wonder who figured that out.  We used to drive to a spring and get our containers filled...and it was good.

I'm delighted that trees don't have an expiration date...cause I really enjoy looking and harnessing the shade, especially living here in Sunny Florida.

I'm glad God  has not  let us know the expiration date on us....and that's why we're celebrating Yom Kippor.  It's God who decides!

I observed your blog using google and I must say, this is most likely one of the greatest nicely ready articles I have come across in a long time. I've bookmarked your site for more posts.
