Chanukah in August!

Here I am on my second computer at this time in my life.  When I asked Jeff and Donna to order it for me...because I know they're good shoppers and they were most eager.

.   So I asked how much was my computer...and they both Skyped me a look with a quirky smile on their faces and said .... early Happy Chanukah.

Wow I was taken aback.   I did not want or expect this...but they giggled and insisted.   I know how to give but I don't know how to accept graciously.

Jeff spent about a week on Teamviewer which enables him to take over my computer and save all my files and then restore them.   I know he worked very hard and long because I was able to watch his cursor....and it seemed like a great artist at work on a brilliant canvas....better than Rembrandt!

Why did I need a new computer when my old one was working fine.    We were not able to Skype any longer because mine wasn't strong enough.   Well, Skyping  for me is just the most important thing in my life...to me it's a miracle.    And I get to visit with my grownup kids every Sunday morning.   I get dressed and make my bed because my computer's in the bedroom and they can see everything on my webcam.    I even put on earrings!

If I were on a time machine and I could go back and tell my Mother and Sister what this instrument is....I would't even be able to describe it.    My World Encyclopedias that we bought for Jeff when he was a boy is obsolete today.   Now we have a search engine that never ever turns me down.   It gives all answers.   I am aware that a human being has to feed this information..but I have no idea how it's done.   Should I believe everything this 'thing' tells me.   Is it so????

I dunno!   But I thank God everyday for this miracle
